About the Role:

 

Are you an experienced electrical engineer ready to take on complex infrastructure challenges? Join our Land Development team in Saudi Arabia as a Senior Dry Utilities, where you'll contribute to the technical delivery of major master planning and land development projects across the Kingdom.

 

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

  • Prepare designs and calculations for electrical, telecom, and street lighting systems in line with utility authority standards.
  • Conduct electrical load calculations, LV schedules, voltage drop and cable de-rating assessments.
  • Design HV, MV, and LV networks, including single-line diagrams and layout plans.
  • Develop telecom infrastructure and GSM coverage layouts.
  • Design street lighting networks, including tunnel and underpass lighting.
  • Perform lux calculations using DiaLux software.
  • Maintain ownership of electrical engineering analysis and design.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications.
  • Review drawings, reports, and specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Present technical aspects of projects to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Produce written reports, methodologies, and case studies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide design updates and technical reviews to project managers and clients.

 

Candidate specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professionally qualified with an internationally recognized engineering institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design-focused projects.
  • Strong technical expertise and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Dialux, ETAP, Amtech.
  • Experience with district cooling and load demand calculations.
  • Familiarity with international codes and Saudi regulations.
  • Experience with tools like ProjectWise, Infraworks, Navisworks, OpenUtilities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments. #LI-SA2
