Our Singapore office is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Sciences Engineer to support our Asset Management Services and Engineering Sciences Team. 

It is a dynamic and progressive office involved in both local, and international projects. Some of the award-winning and iconic projects we have locally completed or are currently involved in include Changi Airport Terminal 5. 

 

You will work in a professional international consultancy, working closely with our multidisciplinary engineers and consultant teams. We have excellent career development programs and training opportunities.  

You will be supporting a growing number of projects and liaising directly with client design and construction teams. 

 

Your key responsibilities will involve:  

 

  • Supporting senior team members in delivering green building certifications and assessments, such as Green Mark, LEED and WELL. 
  • Carry out Building Physics and Performance analysis under supervision of senior team member. Area of simulation and analysis will include but is not limited to energy modelling, indoor and outdoor thermal comfort, daylight and glare, and CFD analysis. 
  • Support senior team members in carrying out site investigations and measurements including but not limited to outdoor thermal comfort, daylighting and artificial lighting, noise and energy. 
  • Support senior team members in developing bespoke sustainability strategies for specific organisations and projects. 
  • Prepare technical analysis of energy and sustainability strategies for both new and existing buildings. Coordinate with external vendors as required and agreed with senior team members. 
  • Prepare and produce high quality presentations, write-ups and reports for internal and external project communication. 
  • Support senior team members on ad-hoc basis for bid preparation, collection of CVs, update presentations etc. 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills: 

 

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with proven experience in reasoning and presenting a convincing argument. 
  • Experience with Building Physics and Performance analytical tools will be advantageous. 
  • Experience in Mechanical ACMV design will be advantageous. 
  • Adaptable, with a methodical and problem-solving mind. 
  • Have a keen interest and enthusiasm for sustainability. 
  • Be a versatile and quick thinker. 
  • Show willingness and ability to pick up new concepts quickly. 
  • Be proactive and motivated personality to self-improve. 
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Be open to new ideas and innovation. 

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Architectural or Engineering. 
  • Relevant Industry Accreditations in Green Mark, LEED, WELL, SCEM will be looked upon favourably.
