Your role

You don't need to be the technical expert in every country's tax regime. What is important is your ability to apply strong international tax judgement, identify issues early, challenge and interpret specialist advice, and coordinate effectively with local advisers and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
International tax advisory
- Provide clear and practical advice on cross-border transactions, particularly withholding tax, Permanent Establishment (PE), treaty matters and legislative developments.

- Coordinate local tax expertise where specialist jurisdictional advice is required.
Transaction and contract advisory
- Provide tax input into contracts, agreements and transactions to support appropriate tax structuring and compliance.
- Partner with Legal and Commercial teams to review contractual terms and identify potential tax implications.
Stakeholder management
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, finance teams and other internal stakeholders across Asia.
- Keep stakeholders informed of relevant tax developments, risks and business implications.
- Support transfer pricing documentation, tax returns and related filings.
- Work with the Tax Centre of Excellence, where required, to support accurate and timely tax reporting.
Tax controversy and risk
- Manage responses to tax audits, notices, refund claims and appeals in collaboration with local advisers and finance teams.
- Coordinate interactions with tax authorities and external advisers to achieve effective and commercially appropriate outcomes.
- Identify, communicate and escalate material tax risks early.
Tax strategy and planning
- Work with Group Tax and Regional Finance to develop and implement tax-efficient structures and strategies.
- Contribute to global tax initiatives and continuous improvement across the tax function.
Training and knowledge sharing
- Deliver tax awareness sessions and training for finance and business teams.
- Build greater understanding of tax risks and promote a strong culture of tax compliance across the region.
Tax technology and automation
- Help identify opportunities to simplify and automate tax processes.
- Support the implementation and adoption of digital tools that improve tax reporting, compliance and efficiency.
What you bring
You will be an experienced international tax professional who combines strong technical foundations with commercial judgement, curiosity and an ability to influence stakeholders.
Ideally, you will bring:
- A recognised professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, or an equivalent accounting, tax or legal qualification.
- Around 10–12+ years of relevant tax experience, including significant corporate and international tax exposure.
- Experience gained within a Big 4 or major advisory firm and/or an in-house multinational tax environment.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, ideally within Asia or other complex and emerging markets.
- Strong technical grounding in corporate tax, withholding tax, Permanent Establishment and treaty analysis.
- Exposure to areas such as transfer pricing and indirect taxes.
- Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to interpret and challenge technical advice and translate it into practical recommendations for the business.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands, delegate effectively, communicate workload transparently and escalate issues early.
- A collaborative, team-first approach combined with the autonomy and ownership expected of a senior professional.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to take on a genuinely regional role where your advice can influence decisions across some of our most diverse and dynamic markets.
You will join a supportive, collaborative and globally connected Tax team that values quality, pragmatic advice and continuous improvement. You will have the autonomy to shape how you work, the opportunity to influence stakeholders across the business, and the platform to contribute to the continued evolution of our tax capability, including technology and automation.
If you're an experienced international tax professional who enjoys solving complex cross-border challenges, partnering with the business and making an impact beyond technical tax compliance, we'd love to hear from you.
