Your Opportunity 

 

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of exciting projects, our Buildings Structures team in Sydney is looking for a Principal Structural Engineer and Technical Director to join our multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals. 

 

In this role, you will: 

 

  • Lead and deliver landmark building projects across sectors including arts & culture, aviation, education, transport, civic, and life sciences. 

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and consultants to drive innovative, sustainable design solutions. 

  • Mentor and inspire junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. 

  • Engage directly with clients, shaping project strategies and building long-term partnerships. 

  • Contribute to a workplace culture that values collaboration, creativity, and purpose-driven work. 

 

About you 

 

  • Chartered Engineer with a degree in civil/structural engineering or a related field. 

  • Working knowledge of structural analysis software (ETABs,  Strand 7 etc).  

  • Possess a high level of design creativity with the ability to develop technically robust structural concepts whilst maintaining a strong focus on the design intent.   

  • Commercially aware with the ability to successfully lead structural and multidisciplinary projects through all phases whilst managing and developing strong client relationships.  

  • Desire to work within a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation and excellence, contributing to work place culture.
