Your Opportunity
The Technical Director Structural role is strongly involved with and leading the design, submission, construction support, as-built documentation, and completion of the structural works for major projects. The role has the dual functionality of leading outstanding technical outcomes for our clients and growing and shaping a high performing team. You would be responsible for influencing, implementing, and advising our clients to help them design, deliver, operate, and maintain outstanding infrastructure.

In this role, you are required to:
- Performing detailed design engineering for complex structural steel systems, precast concrete and post-tensioning structures
- Managing design development, statutory submissions, and supporting all construction phases of the project.
- Preparing comprehensive engineering analyses, calculations, and documentation required for statutory submissions.
- Providing construction support and attending technical and progress meetings with clients, as well as conducting site inspections during construction.
- Mentoring junior engineers and guiding them through structural design tasks.
About You:
- Possess a Professional Engineers Board practicing certificate / recognized university degree in Civil Engineering.
- Holder of Professional Engineer (PE) Civil will be advantageous.
- Experience and familiarity with complex structural steelwork projects.
- Experience and knowledge in precast and PT design.
- Experience with Rhino and scripting will be advantageous.
- Proficient in 3D design programmes i.e. Robot, TSD, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE etc.
- Familiar with the latest codes of practice, the complete BCA submission and approval process.
- Familiar with Revit, Tekla Structures and delivering projects in BIM.
- Having a sense of Engineering Strategy would be highly advantageous
- Ability to work independently and lead a project team.
- Expert knowledge in Singapore building standards.
- Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Principal Structural Engineer.
