As an Advisory Consultant at Mott MacDonald you will support the delivery of strategic advisory services as well as project management roles for both public sector and private sector mandates. Projects include services covering business casing and economics, collaborative procurement approaches, due diligence, climate change and sustainability and asset management for major infrastructure developments. Our advisory service offering requires our team of practitioners to have a balance of an analytical mindset with strong project management, commercial awareness and project delivery risk to communicate concisely and confidently to senior levels of client organizations.
In your role as an Advisory Consultant, your duties will include but may not be limited to:
- Supporting the delivery of Technical Advisory services across various sectors on infrastructure projects
- Leading a range of projects advising on business change strategies and supporting our clients with structured decision-making.
- Supporting our clients with digital transformation strategies.
- Demonstrable experience developing and engaging C-suite executives
- Shape pursuit strategies and author technical narratives for proposals.
- Support our Advisory Leads in establishing a service offering in the operational readiness and change management market.
- Support our Market Leader with developing key account relationships with our local aviation clients and growing the account to maximize opportunities.
- Contribute to regional thought leadership and capability development.
Candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and experience will be considered for the role:

A post-secondary degree with 8+ years of career experience related to the development of technical procurement documentation, engineering and/or infrastructure development;

Experience and knowledge of the construction industry / built environment;

Familiar and proficient with project management processes;

Experience of projects in multiple sectors (e.g. Built environment, Transportation, Water, Energy etc.);

Knowledge and experience of risk identification, management and mitigation;

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of leading and working within a team;

Excellent written and presentation skills;

Able to work independently and unsupervised;

Positive attitude, team player.

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.
This position is for a an existing vacancy. The expected salary range for this position is from $93,000 - 114,000.
