Mott MacDonald is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a demonstrated capability in heavy civil/utilities infrastructure projects to join our team in Toronto.  

 

Key responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Planning, organizing, coordinating, and working with technical and management groups in the delivery of a range of civil infrastructure projects 
  • Collaborating with teams of engineers and technicians to complete project deliverables on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction
  • Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Leading the development of proposal responses
  • Maintaining industry knowledge of current standards and procedures
  • Acting as a role model and ambassador for Mott MacDonald, articulating and representing our brand, vision, and value proposition internally and externally
  • Participating in an innovative, challenging, collaborative and high performing work environment, which supports the use of digital tools and technology and fosters the Mott MacDonald values and culture 

 

Candidate Specification: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Master’s degree preferred
  • 10-15+ years of industry experience delivering civil/utilities projects or utilities scopes of work on major projects.
  • Established relationships with key client or utilities organizations in the GTHA market
  • Experience overseeing design and management of civil utilities or related projects 
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry procurement models
  • Must be familiar with relevant industry standards and design criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build and harbor good working relationships with our business partners, suppliers, contractors, and clients
  • Incorporates health, safety and wellbeing in all that you do
  • Ability to work in a team environment including joint venture partnerships

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.

 

 

The expected salary range for this position is from $130,000 - $160,000.
