As an intern, you’ll
- Collaborate with planners, GIS specialists, engineers, and project managers to support projects that improve infrastructure, enhance environmental resilience, and strengthen community well‑being. You’ll contribute your geospatial and planning skillset while learning the mindset of a consultant.
- Supporting project teams with GIS‑based analysis, mapping, and visualization for planning and infrastructure projects.
- Processing satellite, drone, and remote‑sensing datasets to support environmental assessments and design decisions.
- Preparing maps, figures, and technical documentation for client deliverables and planning reports.
- Summarizing analytical findings into clear, client‑ready insights.
- Participating in project meetings, contributing geospatial insights to multidisciplinary teams.
- Assisting with data validation, quality checks, and integration of datasets from multiple sources.
- Supporting sustainable design outcomes through evidence‑based spatial analysis.
- Exploring opportunities to automate processes, improve data pipelines, or strengthen visualization outputs.
What You Bring
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in Environment & Sustainability with a Minor in GIS
- Strong analytical thinking, digital fluency, and adaptability.
- Experience working with geospatial tools and remote‑sensing platforms.
- Clear communication and presentation skills, strengthened through tutoring and client‑facing instruction.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build rapport with diverse teams.

This position is located in Vancouver, BC . You must be able to reliably commute to our office in this location, per our hybrid working policy.

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.
The expected salary range for this position is from $21 - $30.
