Mott MacDonald is looking for a Natural Sciences Advisory Consultant to join our growing team in Vancouver and support a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and development projects across Canada.
This role is ideal for candidates with approximately 3 years of professional experience, with a passion for delivering impactful solutions in areas such as environmental, climate change, and sustainability assessment.
As a Natural Sciences Advisory Consultant, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients in delivering projects spanning various scales, locations and lifecycle stages.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct background research and analysis to support project objectives

Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client use

Manage data collection and organization

Develop environmental management plans for a variety of infrastructure projects

Provide input into environmental, sustainability and climate change aspects of infrastructure projects

Support climate change risk and resilience assessments for a variety of projects

Provide inputs to sustainability reporting requirements (e.g. LEED and Envision) on megaprojects

Execute tasks and workstreams across multiple projects

Provide client support and contribute to stakeholder engagement

Assist in project management activities

Participate in ongoing learning and development initiatives

Growing a professional network

Willingness to travel
We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant natural science discipline

Approximately 3 years of professional experience in Canada

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Professional accreditation or in-training accreditation preferred

In compliance with the B.C. Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range is from $80,000 - $98,000.
Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.
