We’re seeking an inventive and driven Visualization Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a creative technologist with advanced expertise in V-Ray and game-engine development, who thrives on bringing complex AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) concepts to life through rich, engaging visuals. Your work will play a pivotal role in helping teams communicate design intent and construction logistics with clarity and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft stunning photorealistic renderings and animations using 3DSMax and V-Ray
• Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, engineers, and contractors to visualize intricate design solutions
• Develop detailed construction phasing and staging animations that demonstrate project timelines and workflows
• Maintain rigorous standards for quality, accuracy, and realism in all visual outputs
• Leverage Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar platforms for real-time and interactive visualizations
• Apply visual scripting tools like Blueprints for prototyping immersive content and scene logic
• Optimize visualization workflows for presentation, review, and digital delivery across multiple mediums

Candidate Specification

• 5–10 years of proven experience developing visualizations for large-scale AEC projects
• Mastery of 3DSMax and V-Ray, including lighting, materials, and rendering setups
• Hands-on experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, especially for AEC visual communication
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills; able to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams
• A compelling portfolio showing visual storytelling excellence across architectural, civil, or infrastructure domains
• Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining high production quality
• Experience with UI/UX design for interactive visualizations is preferred
• Familiarity with AR/VR development tools and workflows is preferred
• Knowledge of Pixel Streaming for server-based visualization delivery is preferred
• Understanding of cloud rendering workflows and remote collaboration platforms is preferred
• Experience with drone photogrammetry, GIS data integration, or BIM tools is preferred

In compliance with the B.C. Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range is from $86,000 - $112,000
Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.
