We are seeking an enthusiastic Principal Renewable Energy Consultant to contribute to the success of our New Zealand Energy team.
With an increasing and diverse global portfolio of work we need someone who has a proven interest and record in this field, who is pro-active and enthusiastic, and who wants to help grow and develop the local team. Flexibility and adaptability is also crucial in what is a rapidly changing and dynamic industry.

What you will do:

As our principal Renewable Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for technical input and project management of renewable energy projects (various project technologies and types, primarily wind, solar, and storage).  Your role will also see you support energy related initiative and projects being delivered by other sectors, and across our wider Asia Pacific region.  Your experience in developing client relationships and preparing proposals will be instrumental in the success of the role, and you will have involvement in growth and delivery of new energy initiatives across NZ and our wider region.

About you:

We are looking for a experienced renewables specialist with keen interest in a range of renewable energy project. Such experience may include generation, distribution, project development, project management, energy strategy development, and energy auditing.

It would also be great for you to have:

• Degree qualified in a related discipline
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Motivated and a good collaborator, able to contribute and work in a team player setting
• Knowledge of the NZ electricity market would be an advantage
